Kumbi Madzinga

Kumbi is a front-end developer and web designer and his area of focus is web interface design and development in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. He also has experience working with non-profit organizations and educational institutions, including the African Youth Trust and the University of Nairobi, providing 
web development and strategy support using tools such as WordPress and MailChimp.

Jeremiah Mbaria

Jeremiah is a programmer who has experinece in PHP as well as front-end technologies such as: jQuery, HTML5, Ajax, jSON and XML. He’s worked with popular frameworks and CMS’s such as WordPress, Joomla!, Codeigniter among others.  He also has experience in Java, Python and Linux server.

Alex Pitkin

Alex is a scrum master, agile consultant and general digital production specialist.  He has been working in online for around 7 years with experience in consultation web apps, viral marketing and general internet goodness.  He has built complex web apps for many international public sector organisations including the UK Cabinet Office and the US Dept. of Homeland Security.  Alex has also produced interactive marketing assets for brands such as JVC and Blackberry.

Joseph Kenyua

Kenyua is our General Manager who will be overseeing the development of our commercial and management processes. With a 10 year working background in both the private and public sectors having worked in the field of electric cable manufacturing and for the Kenya Revenue Authority, he is focused on applying the lessons learned in the management of larger organizations to the growth of Circle.

He holds a Masters in Business Administration and will pay particular attention to building our project management capacity, ensuring competitive costing and pricing of projects and cultivating our whole circle of relationships to keep our thinking and our work fresh and creative.

Biki Kangwana

Biki works in broadcast television and digital media. He was producer on Kenya’s leading television series which continues to air internationally. Currently working between Nairobi and London, he has worked on documentary projects for Channel 4, National Geographic and the BBC. He has supervised digital campaigns for television and is building digital solutions for major Kenyan brands.

Chris King

Chris is a cinematographer, web developer and film editor. He edited the feature films “From A Whisper” (African Academy Award for Editing) and “Togetherness Supreme” as well as directed and shot several humanitarian and corporate documentaries. Chris is currently working on several projects in film, music and television. Conversant in digital design, Chris has also been working on digital platforms for a number of Kenyan clients.

Ryan Bowman

Ryan is a leading digital designer and strategist. Former clients include Nation Media Group, the Financial Times, Macmillan, Curtis Brown Literary and Talent Agency, Southwark Playhouse and more. His recent work on the FT Weekend won first prize in 2010 Newspaper Awards. He is a member of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts and hold a Masters of Arts from University College London.

Nikolaos Lampropoulos

Nikolaos is an IT professional and web technologist with great love and passion for anything digital. He has experience in .NET, PHP and Objective-C platforms, frameworks and technologies and has worked for numerous digital agencies and digital media companies in both the UK and Greece. He holds an MSc from Imperial College.
